Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be able to utilize this mobility device with my disability?

Yes! In most instances where there is some form of movement in the legs with the proper combination of traditional physical therapy and our mobility device, most people can propel the devices on their own. I have personally seen many people, (particularly small children with Cerebral Palsy who are in a wheel chair) ride our mobility devices.

How old do I have to be?

It's certainly not an age thing; it's strictly a size thing. The Discovery DCP Mini model can suit a child of 18 months. Our other bikes are appropriate for a teenager or a senior.

How long does it take to get?

On average our little bikes, the Discovery Series, are 2 to 4 weeks; the Adventurer Singles are 3 to 6 weeks; and the Adventure Tandem and Journey take about 6 to 12 weeks all depending on the time of year. We understand that some of you, like us in 'Winterpeg', have a short cycling season and want it right away - we will do our best to get it to you quickly without sacrificing quality and the individual attention that each hand crafted device gets.

What size of Mobility device is good for me? (which device best suits my needs):

We definitely need your total height, weight, and inseam length at a minimum.  To make ordering easy WE will come to you and assist with picking the bike that best suites your needs.
